Abstract

Ramie wastewater was pre-treated by acidification combined with iron-carbon internal electrolysis, the effects of pH adjustment and iron-carbon internal electrolysis on the treatment of wastewater were discussed. The results showed that,in treatment of wastewater by acidification process at room temperature, when adjusting pH to 3.0,the mass concentration of CODCr decreased from 15 981 to 11 363 mg/L,the removal rate of CODCr and colority reached 28.91% and 84.32% respectively;then, under the optimal process conditions which pH value was 3.0,treatment time was 180 min, dosage of iron and carbon was 20% of total mass of wastewater, mass ratio between iron and carbon was 5 ∶ 1,temperature was 30 ℃,using iron-carbon internal electrolysis process to further treat the wastewater, the mass concentration of CODCr decreased to 6 774 mg/L,the removal rate of CODCr and colority reached 57.60% and 96.80% respectively.
