Abstract
Tumor immune tolerance is a process of acquired immune response involving many mechanisms.Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase(IDO)is the rate-limiting enzyme in the kynurenine pathway of catabolism.IDO induces tumor immune tolerance hemisphere, which can inhibit T cell proliferation/activation,via inducing tryptohan depletion environment, cytotoxicity of metabolite and modulating Tregs. The inhibitors of IDO may provide a prosperous therapeutic method for tumors.
