Abstract
Since 1980s the research of English teaching theory has gradually moved from grammar-transfer theory to communicative teaching theory,but in the process of carrying out communicative teaching theory,in order to avoid disadvantages of traditional way of teaching,some teachers take a view of hypercorrection,and lose sight of grammar,which is in fact an important part of communicative teaching theory,and they believe that communicative theory excludes grammar learning.Based on the communicative teaching theory,the paper attempts to make a study of how to learn grammar efficiently in communicative teaching theory,in order to improve learners' linguistic competence and communicative competence.
