Abstract
【Objective】 To investigate the feasibility of X-ray and endoscopic esophageal stent for treatment of malignant esophageal stenosis.【Methods】 The clinical data of patients with advanced esophageal cancer were retrospectively analyzed from January 2008 to January 2011 in our hospital.60 patients were divided into observation group and control group, the control group was given the stenting treatment, and the observation group was given the X-ray and endoscopic esophageal stent. The clinical efficacy, complications and follow-up results of the two groups were compared.【Results】 Both groups were one-time successful stenting. The clinical effective of observation group was 96.7%,the control group was 70.0%,compared the difference was significant(χ2=5.248,P ≤0.01).The postoperative chest pain, reflux esophagitis, bleeding of the two groups were no significant difference(χ2=2.112,2.353 and 3.712,P 0.05),and the incidence of stand loss and displacement of the observation group were lower than the control group, compared the difference was significant(χ2=4.353 and 6.712,P 0.05).The survival rate of 3 months and 6 months of the observation group were higher than the control group, compared the difference was significant(χ2=7.052 and 6.334,P 0.05).The incidence of restenosis of the observation group were lower than the control group, compared the difference was significant(χ2=11.821,P 0.00).【Conclusion】 The X-ray and endoscopic esophageal stent for treatment of malignant esophageal stenosis is safe and effective, and worthy of clinical application.
