Abstract
Among the researches and theories of western scholars',Anthony Giddens' thought of modernity was a representative one.He renewedly surveyed modernity,analysed it multidimensionally,and illuminated its driving forces and its possible aftermath.Therefore,it offered us a fresh angle of view from which to master the modernity enlightenly.
