Intraoral curved osteotomy for hypertrophic mandibular angle

Abstract

Objective To observe the results of Intraoral curved osteotomy for hypertrophic mandibular angle. Methods Hypertrophic mandibular angle were treated with the Intraoral curved osteotomy. Results From 2002 to 2003,fifty patients who suffered from hypertrophic mandibular angle were operated in our department,and the results were satisfactory.The follow-up was 3 to 12 months. Conclusion This procedure was a very simple and reasonable method with less complication and more satisfactory results for the treatment of hypertrophic mandibular angle.
