Abstract

The dynamics of zooplankton contain rotifera, cladocera and copepoda community structure including species composition, population dynamics, and standing crop were investigated in Dishui Lake from January 2006 to December 2009.Forty nine species of zooplankton were found,of which 38 species belong to 15 genera of Rotifera,3 species belong to 3 genera of Cladocera and 8 species belong to 5 genera of Copepoda. The number of zooplankton species and the multiplicity increased year by year. The diversity index H′ of zookplanton community and the number of zooplankton species had a significant negative correlation with salinity, but they had a significant positive correlation with chemical oxygen demand-COD.The zooplankton dominant species varied clearly in Dishui Lake during the last four years.Based on zooplankton dominant species composition,it indicated that Dishui Lake has already approached a fresh water lake, and it was in Medium eutrophication status.
