Abstract
In order to resolve the design of linear ultrasonic motor,this paper presnts a square ring type stator of traveling wave linear ultrasonic motor.Based on FEM the bending vibration modals in the plane of this stator are analyzed and the symmetrical characteristic of this stator is given and the stator prototype is experimental investigated.The stator structure feasibility is ver- ified using the numerical analysis and experimental results.The symmetry structure makes it easy to modal optimum design of ultrasonic motor.The durability of the ultrasonic motor can be mul- tiple improved by using alternate four driving beams of the stator.
