Abstract
The cationic grafting agent TQBET,containing dual reactive groups,tri-quaternary ammonium salt and long chain structure, was synthesized by cyanuric trichloride,N,N-dimethly propane diamine,chloroethyl-amine chloride salt,dodeca-tertiary amine and epichlorohydrin. It was applied in grafting modification and dyeing of cotton fabric. The results showed that the cotton fabric modified with TQBET could be applied in self-free dyeing with reactive dyes. The exhaustion rate, fixation rate and color fastness of the salt-free dyeing of modi-fied fabric were better than those of the traditional dyed fabric. The availability of the dye was improved and the levelness of the modified fabric was also significantly improved.
