Abstract
An ultra-low frequency signal generator based on MCU AT89C52 is designed. The working principle, hardware circuits, software design and key technology of the signal generator are described in detail. The experimental results show that this signal generator can create square wave, triangular wave and sine wave whose frequency and peak-to-valley values are adjustable. The frequency of output signal covers a bandwidth from 0.125 mHz to 80 Hz,and the amplitude of output signal ranges from-10 V to +10 V.Compared with the traditional signal generator, the designed generator has advantages such as stable output waveform, high accuracy and low frequency.
