Abstract

The metaphor phenomenon in the language is closely related to human thinking and development of cognitive ability. The metaphor is showed through the language in a great extent. The human thinking of metaphor explores the resources of language potentiality constantly. The metaphor is the effective means to enrich language of human. The metaphor is a general way of human thinking. The metaphor has important function in thinking and language. The author fully discusses the foundation of cognition of metaphor thinking from the form of language express of metaphor and cognitive angle, researches the metaphor thinking by the essential of the language, and seeks the relation between the thinking mechanism of metaphor and language.
