An Analysis of Jilin Dialect's Figurativeness

Jilin dialect,as the basic dialect in mandarin,belongs to Northeast dialect family.It is rich in semantics,various in structure,and flexible in application,it is a language with powerful emotionality.Jilin dialect has a very strong expressive force and diverse structural styles,it can describe things directly,express emotion,and possesses the features of straightforward conciseness,sense of humor,and vividness.This paper analyzed the figurativeness of Jilin dialect from the perspectives of structural styles and pragmatics.
