The Character of Structure of the Vocabulary in Jilin Dialect

The main factor which affects the degree of understandirg of a dialect is the vocabulary of the dialect.The vocabulary in Jilin dialect is rich in meaning,complicated in struclure,and it is considered as the most significant.representation of Jilin local culture.We should protect our dialect and let the process of spreading out Putonghua go well at the same time.To realize that,we have to find out the features of dialect,compare dialect with Putonghua.This paper analysed the structural characteristics of the vocabulary in Jilin dialect from the viewpoint of modern Chinese,and explored the differences between Jilin dialect and Putorghua.
