A clinical observation on the relationship of sinusitis with nasal septum deviation

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship of sinusitis with nasal septum deviation. Method: Emphases was focused on the status of nasal cavity and sinuses for the patients with nasal septum deviation and on the condition of septum for the patients with sinusitis. Result: Among the 53 patients with nasal septum deviation,38 were seen with high deviation,in which there were 16 cases with sinusitis, and 15 patients were seen with low deviation, in which there were 4 cases with sinusitis. Among the 96 patients as a group of sinusitis, 38 were seen with nasal septum deviation,in which there were 29 cases with high deviation and 9 cases with low deviation. Conclusion: There is a very close relationship between high septum deviation and the development of sinusitis.
