Abstract

Purpose and Methods: The genotoxic activity of Gantaikang was studied by Ames test, micronucleus test of polychromatic erythrocytes in bone marrow and sperm shape abnormality test in mice to provide the data basis for its safety. Results and Conclusion: The results of the three tests were all negative, which suggested that Gantaikang is not mutagenic to tested strains, somatic cells and male germ cells in mice.
