Abstract
A new catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of copper was developed. It was based on the catalytic effect of copperⅡ on the oxidation reaction between potassium periodate and amido black 10B in NH_3·H_2O-NH_4Cl medium and in the presence of Tween-80.The (optimum) conditions, kinetic parameters and reaction mechanism of this reaction were studied. The linear range is 0.002~0.01 μg/mL for copper?,and the detection limit is 6.2×10~(-11) g/mL.It has been used for the determination of trace copper?in water samples with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
