Abstract

Objective: To Provide a reference for treating children with nephrotic syndrome. Methods:To make a retrospective analysis of 65 children with nephrotic syndrome, including methylprednisolone pulse therapy group 33 cases, conventional therapy of prednisone 32 cases. They were treated with methylprednisolone pulse therapy and prednisone conventional treatment as remission induction respectively. After protein was negative, continue to maintain and reduct prednisone for 1 to 2 years, and compare the efficacy and adverse reactions. Results:The total effective rate of Methylprednisolone pulse therapy group was 93.94%,the difference was statistically significant between two group(P0.05).Conclusion:The methylprednisolone pulse therapy can be stable to relieve symptoms, improve the complete remission rate,short-term use did not increase adverse effects, but can reduce the long-term treatment of adverse reactions in the treatment of children with nephrotic syndrome. It is recommended that the children who are applied with this method can be treated with enough hormone for 12 weeks, and the total course of treatment should be at least greater than 1 year.
