Abstract

Metadata and its management are the core of data warehousing. It's critical to describe the usage of and the relations between different metadata in an unitive way. In this paper, we present the main framework and the underlying standards of the Common Warehouse Metamodel(CWM) proposed by OMG and the relations between these standards and CWM in detail.
