Abstract
Solution polymerization were applied and low relative molecular weight poly-acrylic acid sodium(550~2000) was produced with acrylic acid as monomer, ammonium persulfate as initiator and water as solvent. The dispersion performance of PAANa in ZrO_2 slurry(70(wt)%) was studied. The result showed that PAANa(550~2000) had better diluted effect when the addition of PAANa was 0.2(wt)%~0.3(wt)%.The addition of PAANa had little influence on the thixotrophy of the slurry.
