On the founder of Duanxi Academy Licai in Ming Dynasty

Licai,a local official with tragic color in the late Ming dynasty,not only did he achieve a lot of military exploits for Ming dynasty,but also advocated academy and established Zhixiu theory.He was the founder of Duanxi Academy,one of Guangdong's four Academies.He suffered from serious crucifixion four times because of his establishing schools.Licais' tragic life is related to wicked political and social ecological environment in the late Ming dynasty.
