Abstract
Examining the First Founder of Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang's experience and his Buddhism thoughts, as well as the way he ruled the country with the help of Buddhism, the present paper explores both the influence of religion on historic figures and the relationship between religion and social policy.
