Effect of chymotrypsin combine with negative pressure drainage therapy abdomen incision infection

Objective: To investigate the value of chymotrypsin combined with negative pressure drainage device treatment of abdominal incision infection.Methods: From January 2012 to December 2013,40 cases of abdominal operation incision infection occurred in patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Each group of patients were treated with vacuum sealing drainage. The chymotrypsin solution were injectived into incision of observation group from drainage tube for four consecutive days,and after 30 min the drainage were opened; The control group were injected with normal saline.The drainage condition during dressing period,the average number of replaced drainage tubes. The average healing time of wound of two groups were observed. Results: Compared with control group,the drainage tube clogging rate was lower in observation group,also with less replaced drainage tubes and shortened healing time of incision,the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Chymotrypsin has good enzymatic debridement effect,combined with negative pressure drainage device,it can help to improve the drainage of incision,and promote wound healing.
