Well Logging Evaluation and Its Geologic Application of Permian Volcanic Reservoir in Yuanwu-xia Area of the Junggar Basin

The paper expounds the basic logging evaluation theory and method of volcanic reservoir using general logging method and introduces a calculation method of volcanics porosity,liquid saturation of volcanic reservoir and permeability.The well logging evaluation examples are from volcanic reservoir of Permian Fengcheng Group in Wu-xia area of Juggar basin's logging evaluation examples.The paper gives emphasis to analyze the controlling effect that tectonic geofactor affects on the fracture growth and its distribution characteristic of the volcanic reservoir by researching of the relationship between fracture porosity and tectonics.The practical application of citing examples indicates that the fracture porosity interpretation model based on the well logging parameter can be used for quantitative evaluation in the volcanic reservoir,meanwhile,on the basis of improving lithology identify and calculating fracture parameter,combining with geological specialty,the fracture growth and its distribution characteristic of the volcanic reservoir can be predicted using well logging data.
