Abstract
Adopting orthogonal design method L9 (34),influential factors on the determination of permanganate index were investiga- ted,and the orders of factors and the optimum conditions of determination were obtained.The results showed that the orders of effect on accu- racy of permanganate index,as follows:to begin with potassium permanganate concentration,then heating time,furthermore time of titration, finally is solution acidity.Under the optimal conditions which the concentration of sulfuric acid is 1:3,the heating time is 8 minutes,time of titration is 60s,the concentration of potassium permanganate is 0.0100moL/L,recovery is 101%.
