FANG Fang: Writing Chinese Intellectual Family's Fate in the 20th Century

This thesis takes FANG Fang's works about intellectual's life as study object. Through explaining the figures and fates of grandfather, father and we that FANG Fang describes, it analyses the characteristic of intellectual family in FANG Fang's works: historlical fate of escape nowhere and the descending mental phenomenon between the generations. Furthermore, in the background of Chinese writers on intellectual's life of the 20th century, the author analyses the characteristic of FANG Fang's works perspective of tragic fates and mercy on moderate emotions.
