On Application of the Task-based Approach to the teaching of College English Reading and Writing

Abstract

This essay mainly focuses the connotation of the task-based approach and the application of the task-based approach to the teaching of college English reading and writing,that is,how to put the theory of the task-based approach to the teaching practice of college English reading and writing,especially for the designing of teaching process in college English reading and writing.Then it discusses the advantages of the task-based approach and some problems in the design of the tasks in teaching.
