Abstract
The factors affecting the temperature drop of molten steel in 150 t ladle furnace and tundish in Zhujiang Steel was investigated. It is found that because of imperfect technology regulation, the temperature of end-point control in ladle furnace is unstable, the superheat in tundish is on the high side and the temperature drop is larger.By optimizing the technological regulation, importing real-time monitoring, strengthening the management, the molten steel temperature stability can be assured and the breakout rate can be reduced greatly.
