Abstract
In view of the high temperature fluctuation in the tundish,and the low temperature stability of the molten steel in the tundish at No.3 steelmaking plant of SISG,optimizations were made to tundish refining,continuous casting and production organization,which all could affect the temperature stability of molten steel in the tundish.By doing so,the temperature qualification rate of the molten steel in the tundish was raised from about 80% to above 95%.
