Abstract

This paper discussed the woody plant flora in Baihuwan of Enshi county.According to the investigation,there are 87 families,218 genera and 465 species of wild wood plants in the valley.The woody plants flora dated from the ancient times with many endemic genera to China,monotypic and oligotypic families and genera.The distribution types are complex.The temperate and tropical elements of woody flora are dominant and it shows the transitional natures from tropic to temperate.
