Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of thalidomide in low dose combined with dexamethasone in treatment of multiple myeloma(MM).Methods the dose of thalidomide was gradually increased form 100mg/d to 200mg/dDexamethasone was given for 15mg/d,1-4days once a month. Results 4 of 16 cases with MM partially released,9 cases improved, and 3 cases was ineffective. The total effective rate was 81.2%(13/16).There were no side effects not to be tolerated.Conclusion.Conciusion Combination of the thalidomide in low dose with dexamethasone on treatment of multiple myeloma shows obvious effects.
