The life choice of the women along Huaihe River in Anhui during the Ming and Qing Dynasties

There are the women that survive by migrating and begging,plough-weaving along Huaihe River in Anhui areas during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It shows that the local social economic development lags behind and it still has some space for development. It reflects that the regional social and economic development stagnate. Some women giving alms in the region highlight the aggravation of polarization of wealth. The survival way of women along Huaihe River broke the ideal life mode (men tilling the land and women weaving) in the traditional society, women in economic activities enjoy the same freedom of the occupational choice as men.
