Abstract

The study is to optimize the ultrasonic-assisted extraction of proanthocyanidins from peanut red skin.Process variables such as solvent strength,ultrasonic power and rate of material to solvent are optimized through Box-Behnken central composite design and response surface methodology on the basis of single factor experiments.The results show that the optimal conditions are as follows:solvent strength 62%,ultrasonic frequency 120 W and ratio of material to solvent 47:1.Under these conditions,the extraction rate is 12.597 mg/g.
