Scholarship of Teaching and University Teachers' Professional Development

With the development of higher education,university teachers' professional development has become an important thing which is paid more attention to in the field. The scholarship of teaching is a new dimension for university teachers' professional development,under whose guidance teachers' occupation can be effectively promoted in specialization,balancing the contradiction between university teachers' teaching and research,improving the university teachers' professional development theory system and external environment evaluation. Based on the strategy of the scholarship of teaching, the construction of university teachers professional development should be focused on academic ideas of teaching and the role of teachers,evaluation and incentive system,teachers' professional development and teachers' academic research,promoting the quality of higher education and enhancing the academic teaching level in university.
