An Analysis of Chuang Tzu's Political Standpoint in Line with The Human World

Happy Excursions and The Human World in Chuang Tzu are evidently different in style and situations.This paper attempts to explore the cause for differences by making a textual analysis of The Human World.It is opined that the cause lies in Chuang Tzu's evasion of reality and politics in his philosophical meditation in that he regards them as objects of technical thinking with the result that he displays a polarized attitude in face of grim reality,with one being happy excursion and the other avoidance and prudence.In the last part of the paper,an attempt is made to probe into Chuang Tzu's philosophy by highlighting his polarized attitude.
