Abstract
A layer of nickel film was plated by using vacuum evaporation on Al2O3 ceramic surface, then the diffusion bonding of Al2O3 ceramic and AISI201 stainless steel was realized by using pure Ni powder as interlayer material. The bonding joint was tested by shear strength testing, and its micro-morphology and phase structure were analyzed. The results show that the highest shear strength of the joint reaches up to 20.7 MPa at bonding temperature 900℃,holding time 2 hours, bonding pressure 30 kPa.AlNi intermetallic compound is generated during diffusion bonding.
