Abstract

ObjectiveTo study the curative effect and the s urgical methods with intraocular lens implantation for case of traumatic catarac t.Methods29 cases 29 eyes of traumatic cataract,23 eyes had be en implanted PC IOL in the meantime of sewing up the wound and cataract extracti on,the other 6 eyes received secondary IOL implantation surgery after more than 3 months.ResultsPostoperative visual acuity was 0.5 or better in 19 cases (65.2%).No serious complication was found in all the 29 case.The opt imal vision is 0.8.ConclusionSelecting the optimal operation t ime and surgical method could lead to better effects.
