Abstract
By virtue of inherent biological characteristics of the surface of ultrasound microbubbles,or connecting specific ligand to the surface of ultrasound microbubbles through special treatment, the targeted ultrasound microbubbles can be targeted constructed.Via intravenous injection, and can stagnate in the target tissue or target organ for longer time, thus, molecular imaging can be produced by contrast-enhanced ultrasound.Experimental studies have showed that targeting ultrasound molecular imaging could evaluate inflammation of the target tissues and organs in quantitative with noninvasive manner.Studies in this field has rapidly evolved in recent years.
