Yiguan Decoction and Siwu Decoction on the Serological Indexes in Hepatic fibrosis Model Rats

Abstract

Objective To observe Siwu Decoction and Yiguan Decoction on carbon tetrachloride induced liver fibrosis and cirrhosis in rats.Method 60 rats were randomly divided into six groups,among which the model group,colchicine group,Yiguan Decoction and Siwu Decoction high,medium,low dose groups were given medication after modeled by a modified CCl4 method.And,a normal control group was set.Rats in groups A to E were administered CCl4 for establishing animal model.44 days after the modeling,serum HA,PC Ⅲ,Ⅳ-C levels,expression of TGF-β1 in liver were observed.Results Yiguan Decoction and Siwu Decoction significantly reduced serum HA,PCⅢ,Ⅳ-C levels,inhibited hepatic expression of TGF-β1(P0.01 in all groups).Conclusion Siwu Decoction and Yiguan Decoction effectively inhibit hepatic fibrosis.
