The Site Index Table Compilation for Pulpwood Plantation of Eucalyptus grandis in Sichuan

Abstract

175 sample plots were surveyed in Eucalyptus grandis pulpwood plantations which were distributed in the cities and counties such as Luzhou, Yibing, Meishan, Fushun, Hongya, Danling, Shawan, Jiajiang and Muchuan of Sichuan Province. The plantations are of different ages and grow in different site conditions. By comparison, the equation: H=2821970 (1-e-0.15600A)0.99310 was selected as the optional model of guide curve of site index for Eucalyptus grandis. The site index table of Eucalyptus grandis was complied with adjusting standard deviation. The model was tested and its accuracy could met the requirement.
