Determination of Potassium Bromate,Sorbic Acid and Benzoic Acid in Pastry Using Ion Chromatography with Suppressed Ductivity Detector

Abstract
Three kinds of food additives of potassium bromate,benzoic acid and sorbic acid were simultaneously determined by ion chromatography with suppressed conductance detection.After ultrasonic processing,separated by C 18 column,Ag / H column and microporous membrane filter to remove protein and chloride ion and metal cation and molecule,and the sample was analyzed by ion chromatography.Potassium bromate,benzoic acid and sorbic acid showed good linearity(r 0.998) in the range of 0.20 ~20 mg/L.The recoveries were between 92.2% ~95.9% and the RSDs were less than 2%.This method was rapid,accurate and reliable,which can be used for the determination of a large number of samples.
