Abstract

[Objective] To understand Listeria monocytogenes contamination in food in Junan county.[Methods] Listeria monocytogenes strain was isolated based on GB 4789.30-2003.[Results] Of 610 samples of food collected in 2006,39(6.32%)strains of Listeria monocytogenes were isolated,contamination rate of raw meat,cooked meat and raw vegetables was 9.94%,4.48% and 3.78% respectively.[Conclusion]The potential danger of food poisoning caused by Listeria monocytogenes exists in this county.
