Abstract
2-Butyl bromide was synthesized from hydrobromic acid(48%) and 2-butylalcohol by adding concentrated sulfuric acid.Various affecting factors were investigated.The result showed that the optimal conditions were 2-butylalcohol 0.16mol,hydrobromic acid 0.18mol,concentrated sulfuric acid 18mL,refluxed for 1h.The separated yield was high up to 95.00%.This method not only saves raw materials,but also has less pollution.
