Observation of Therapeutic Effect of Chiropractic Combing with Acupuncture on 35 Cases with Diabetic Gastroparesis

Objective:To observe the effect of combination of chiropractic and acupuncture therapy on diabetic gastroparesis(DGP).Methods:70 patients with DGP were divided into two groups.Besides the cases in two groups were treated by routine therapy of diabetes,patients in treatment group(n=35)were treated by combination of chiropractic and acupuncture therapy.Patients in control group(n=35)were treated by Mosapride.The course in two groups was one month.Results:Improvement of symptoms in treatment group was su-perior to that in control group after treatment.There was difference between before and after treatment in two groups(P0.05).The total effective rate was 91.4% in the treatment group and 71.4% in the control group,with a significaht difference between the two groups(P0.05).Fasting blood glucose and glycosylation hemoglobin in treatment group was significant difference pre-treatment and post-treatment(P0.05).Conclusion:Chiropractic and acupuncture have both decrease content of blood glucose and glycosylation hemoglobin,and can significantly relieve diabetic gastroparesis,the therapeutic effect being better than Mosapride.
