Abstract
Mao Yisheng is our national renowned bridge scientist,educationalist and social activist,also is an important founder of bridge engineering of Chinese modern times and an outstanding scientist of his generation.He had devoted his lifetime to the science and technology career of China.With his rich science and technology experience,he proposed some distinctive scientific understandings and systematic opinions.His scientific thoughts have positive and practical significance for the development of the scientific career of our country.
