Abstract
Xu Teli has forged an indissoluble bond with science and technology during his lifelong studies and educational practices,and especially during the Yan'an Period,he personally participated and led the foundation of the early scientific and technological cause of the Communist Party of China.At the meantime,he set forth systematically the essence,value and developing rules of science and technology,and put forward that science and technology should serve the real life.He carried out the principle of the unity of research,education and production,and attached importance to the introduction and cultivation of scientific and technological talents and other policies promoting the development of science and technology,and formed the systematic Maxism theory of science and technology.His thoughts,full of wisdom and practicality,are still meaningful for today's strategy of invigorating China through science and education.
