The New Explanation of The Poetics Based on the Reconstruction of Confucianism in the Middle Tang Dynasty

Abstract
Shi Shigai represented the new explanation of The Poetics in the Middle Tang Dynasty,which was born in the upsurge of the reconstruction of Confucianism. Aiming at the tradition of interpreting the political edification and etiquette in The Poetics of the Han and Tang Dynasty,the new explanation emphasizes the literariness and reasonableness of The Poetics. The rational thinking is related with the academic new thinking that mingles the Confucianism and the Buddhism and influences the formation of the characteristics of The Poetics of the Song Dynasty.
