Empirical Analysis of Energy Consumption and Economic Development——In Liaoning Province

Energy is limited,the energy consumption has been the focus of economists for a long time.Aiming at this hot issue,energy consumption and economic development problem of Liaoning Province is empirically analyzed.First of all,the energy distribution,consumption and economic development of Liaoning Province are Statistical analyzed.Draw the following preliminary conclusions,economic development of Liaoning province has a high degree of energy dependence,most of the energy is non-renewable,Liaoning's economy is facing development bottlenecks.Then the using of energy intensity indicators,select the panel data of energy consumption intensity and gdp of chinese provinces,and analysis the Convergence of energy intensity and economic development,and then analyze the energy saving potential of Liaoning Province the following conclusions: there is negative correlation between the level of economic development and energy consumption intensity.Liaoning Province saving potential coefficient is higher than the national average,high ratio of input and output,low energy efficiency,so it has great energy conservation space.
