Abstract
Objective To study the effects of H2S on the apoptosis of PC12 cells induced by rotenone. Methods The apoptosis of PC12 cells were observed by hochest stain, and propidium iodide stain flow cytometry(FCM). Results Compared with the control untreated cells(3.23%±0.64%),the apoptosis rate was 26.24%±2.92%,48.82%±6.66% respectively, after 24 hours of 1 and 3 μmol/L rotenone exposure.400 μmol/L NaHS didn't induce apoptosis in PC12 cells, however the apoptosis rate of PC12 cells induced by 1 and 3 μmol/L rotenone was decreased from 26.24%±2.92%,48.82%±6.66% to 11.13%±3.82%(P0.05),31.28%±6.85% respectively after treated with 400 μmol/L NaHS for 24 h togetherly. Conclusions H2S can inhibit the apoptosis in PC12 cells induced by rotenone.
