Abstract
In this article we firstly used a novel method(column extraction)to extract saponins from Momordica charantia.L. On the basis of single factor test, we did orthogonal experiment and found the optimum conditions of extraction: ethanol concentration 70%, the extracting temperature 75 ℃,the velocity of flow 4.5 BV/h, the column extracting time 250 minutes and the the extraction percent of saponins was 4.198%. We used Matlab software to obtain good results simulating the flux curves. At last,the primary mechanism of the column extraction was investigated as well.
