A Study of the Essence of Ideological and Political Education from the Perspective of the Subject of Value

The essence of ideological and political education is the fundamental issue in the ideological and political education research fields. Having clearly explained the concept relating to the essence of ideological and political education,this paper has analyzed questions occurred in the process of discussing the essence of ideological and political education in recent 15 years,such as confusing the meanings of the essence and the attribute of ideological and political education,partially understanding the subject of value of ideological and political education and the reason of its existence. And it examines its essence from the perspective of the subject of value of ideological and political education,and concludes that it is a practical activity of education to satisfy the various demands of individuals and groups in their ideas and thinking,political thoughts and moral rules and regulations.
